About the job

As the Sales Engineer, you’ll be the trusted technical partner for our clients—turning complex engineering concepts into clear, practical solutions that make a real difference to their business.

In this client-facing role, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our Sales and Engineering teams to understand customer needs, assess technical feasibility, and design solutions that balance technical precision with commercial impact. You’ll create technical documentation, contribute to competitive proposals, and ensure your work not only meets project goals but also drives long-term value.

Your expertise will directly influence our growth and our clients’ success—whether you’re supporting project handovers, aligning teams for smooth delivery, or spotting opportunities to improve how we solve customer challenges.

Beyond the day-to-day, you’ll help identify market trends, uncover new opportunities, and refine the way we engage with clients. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving—perfect for someone who thrives on engineering challenges, enjoys building strong relationships, and wants to see their work make a measurable impact.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Quote Technical Deliverables:
    • Produce client GA drawings, functional specifications, and datasheets; generate contract/manufacturing GA, inspection/test plans, and manuals to support accurate quoting and execution. For non-standard / Engineer-to-Order (ETO) configurations requiring Design Engineering input, act as the bridge between Sales and Design Engineering to scope, clarify, and align pre-quote deliverables.
  • Proposal Development:
    • Prepare detailed and accurate technical proposals, outlining specifications, pricing, and project timelines tailored to the client's needs.
  • Customer Support:
    • Provide ongoing technical support to clients, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth implementation of the company's solutions.

  • Project Management:
    • Oversee the technical aspects of projects, collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Market Research:
    • Stay ahead of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities to provide input for the development of innovative and competitive solutions.
  • Sales Forecasting:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical input for accurate sales forecasting, supporting production planning and resource allocation.
  • Contract Negotiation:
    • Assist in negotiating technical aspects of contracts with clients, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications and industry standards.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that products meet or exceed technical specifications and standards.
