About the Role You will work in the Business Projects department, which carries out large electricity and gas projects primarily in the western and central Netherlands. The major challenges for the Business Projects Chain include doubling the capacity to expand and upgrade our electricity grid, achieving gas replacement targets, improving the efficiency of contractor collaboration within the agreed-upon growth paths of new contracts, and professionalizing project management. As a business consultant, you will contribute to analyzing problems and opportunities, developing solutions, and implementing the change.
Responsibilities:
Drawing up, developing and implementing innovative pilot projects on voltage-free working with the aim of being able to implement the neighbourhood approach safely and quickly
Much of the operational work is carried out by contractors. It's important for the client to be a good client. Therefore, it's crucial to establish sound policies, clear frameworks, and processes to effectively fulfill the role of "execution management."
Client has successfully concluded several infrastructure contracts with water companies. These contracts have been implemented and each develops a growth path. As a business consultant, you will be the link between the client and the Infrastructure organization and ensure that the growth path can be effectively implemented. Consider, for example, initiatives such as "moving up the chain."
Developing and implementing a well-functioning portfolio process in terms of organization, process, and systems. Or conducting a feasibility analysis of one of the selected scenarios at the project level.
Requirements
You have at least a higher professional education (HBO) work and thinking level and have completed a course of study in, for example, (technical) business administration, civil engineering or a similar course of study.
You have knowledge and extensive, recent experience with project management, portfolio management, change management and/or business consultancy in the infrastructure / energy sector.
You have experience in leading complex projects at the intersection of business and IT with multiple (external) stakeholders.
You have excellent social and communication skills and can easily switch between tactical and operational levels
IPMA, Prince 2. Lean Greenbelt and/or SAFe Agile certification are a plus.
