Job Description

At KPN, we’re optimizing and transforming the Commerce & Self Service Portal for business customers. This platform service both Mid-Market customers & Large Customer Market and offers them a digital environment to manage their Telcoservices, billing en selfservice. The Platform service partners of KPN. Our goal? To be relevant at every moment in the customer lifecycle—and to do that, we need smart, scalable, and AI-powered solutions. 

As a Back end Developer, you’ll be part of a dynamic Scrum team driving innovation. You’ll build seamless customer journeys, connect complex systems, and harness the power of Artificial Intelligence to work faster, smarter, and more creatively. 

What You’ll Do 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative features. 
• Define MVPs and contribute to the product vision of KPN OneBase. 
• Contribute to a composable system architecture where independent, reusable UI components and micro-frontends are assembled to create a unified, functional user interface, enabling teams to build and deploy smaller, self-contained frontend units that can be dynamically integrated at runtime. 
• Use AI tools to accelerate development, automate testing, and enhance decision-making. 
• Ensure high-quality code through testing, conventions, and automation. 
• Help shape the future of our digital platforms with creativity and technical excellence.

Qualifications

  Tech Stack & Tools 

• Languages & Frameworks: C# and ASP.NET (Version 8+)  Pré:Typescript Angular 17+, Webcomponents, Jest, Cypress, Ngrx, NX, SCSS, CSS, MFE

• APIs: JSON, REST 
• Platforms: AWS, Azure 
• DevOps & Monitoring: Docker, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, The Azure Portal Suite, Infrastructure as Code solutions and SQL Server. 
• AI & Automation: Integration of AI tools for code generation, testing, and performance optimization. 
• Design Patterns: A clear understanding of common design patterns used within web API development, Union structure project structures and the CQRS pattern. 

What You Bring 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science (or similar) with 5+ years of experience. 
• Experience with GenAI and prompting.
• Strong team player with a proactive, “can-do” mindset. 
• Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies. 
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus). 
• Analytical thinker with an end-to-end mindset. 
• Eager to learn and share knowledge. 
• Open to change and constructive feedback. 

Additional Information

As an employer, we offer you an attractive package, including:

• Gross monthly salary between €5.742,- and €8.865,- depending on your experience (based on 40 hours)
• A fixed 13th-month salary, partially paid monthly and partially in January, or you can allocate it to a FLEX & BOOST goal of your choice
• Annual individual and collective salary increases according to our collective labor agreement (CAO)
• €1,500 per year for personal development, which you can use for training, coaching, or courses
