Job Description

  • Act as the primary contact for internal communication within Deloitte’s Strategy, Transactions & Risk Advisory business, developing a deep understanding of the business’s objectives, challenges and culture while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Serve as the strategic communications advisor to the leadership team, translating their strategies and organisational transformation into actionable communication plans—data-driven and measurable, conducting audience assessments and defining key messages—that align with and actively support business objectives;
  • Create engaging content and employ storytelling across various channels, such as the intranet, business newsletter, webinars, and the news app ‘Daily’;
  • Optimise content for the monthly newsletter and strategic update calls, and craft scripts, emails, talking points, and LinkedIn posts for leadership;
  • Foster buy-in for plans through collaboration with leadership , SRTA teams and colleagues in enabling areas (e.g., communications, marketing, business development, talent), enhancing visibility, collaboration and influence within the organisation.

Business acumen related to Deloitte’s strategy, particularly within consulting, is a plus.

You approach tasks holistically from a strategic vantage point and are innately flexible. You are approachable, proactive, results-oriented, connecting, and a team player. With strong communication skills, sensitivity, and persuasive abilities, you are a significant asset within the Strategy, Transactions & Risk Advisory practice.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum WO level of education, preferably with an MSc in (business) communication, change management or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of post-graduate experience within a corporate communications role.
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent writing skills. Dutch proficiency is a plus.

Additional Information

As the internal communications advisor for Deloitte (Strategy, Transactions & Risk Advisory business line), you will dedicate the majority of your time (> 80%) to understanding and supporting the strategic needs of the service line with creating and executing internal communications plans. You excel at translating strategic themes into compelling stories and interventions that resonate with consulting colleagues, driving communications that support the overall strategy of Deloitte. You will ensure that colleagues stay informed about the latest developments and internal strategic priorities, transforming key business objectives into clear and engaging messages. Your research into communication trends will enable you to advise stakeholders effectively and constructively.

While your primary focus will be on the business line Strategy, Transactions & Risk Advisory, you will also play a vital role within the corporate internal communications team, collaborating with other communications advisors on leadership and transformation communication plans that benefit the wider Deloitte organisation across all business areas. You will work closely with them to ensure consistency in messaging and prioritisation of initiatives. Within Strategy, Transactions & Risk Advisory, you will engage with the chief of staff, strategy office, PMO office, Talent teams, and other relevant stakeholders, supporting the organisation in setting up and executing strategy as a sparring partner, challenger, executor and strategist.
