DescriptionAs a Business Development Manager, you will be the forefront of the sales process. Serving the crucial functions of qualifying inbound leads, building a solid pipeline of sales opportunities, evaluating each merchant’s business needs, making sure that they fit the DP World service offering, submitting the quote, and closing the deal. You will be the first point of contact for all our potential new customers and the ultimate connector to build relations with them. To reach your goals you leverage industry events, social media, email campaigns, digital marketing actions and phone calls to help educate potential clients about DP World services.

The Business Development Manager is:
- Driving new business development by identifying, researching, and qualifying new leads.
- Ensuring that sales qualified leads (SQLs) are converting to opportunities and supporting sales pipeline growth.
- Overseeing sales pipeline growth via high volume of outbound cold calls, emails, and social selling.
- Identifying client needs through assessing their current fulfillment setup and using discretionary judgment to assess if they are a fit for our business model.
- Making adjustment recommendations to customer, where our processes do not “fit the box” on their end.
- Scheduling demos with potential customers and Onboarding Managers.
- Achieving daily activity requirements through outbound merchant contact and accurately tracking customer interactions in the designated customer relationship management (CRM) tool.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement across sales operations and make recommendations to executive leadership for streamlining process.
- Developing and nurturing the relations with key customer accounts.
- Reporting status on goals.
- Consistently exceeding monthly and annual quota.
- Possessing a strong understanding of company products and services and knowledge about the ones offered by the competition.
- Keeping up with the latest industry developments
- Presenting entrepreneurial attitude.
- Responsible for the management and leadership of an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that each is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time-bound.
- Acting as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
